The aim of this award is to recognise and reward a project and team that have demonstrated innovative practices and design skills that incorporates sustainable features to reduce a building’s carbon emissions and energy consumption.<\/p>\n

What the award stands for:<\/strong><\/p>\n + Recognition of innovative sustainable design and adaptability<\/p>\n + Celebrating innovation in the choice of materials<\/p>\n + Promoting energy efficiency measures and new technology<\/p>\n + Raising the profile of exemplary innovative practices within the industry<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Criteria for nominations:<\/strong><\/p>\n + The Building Control Services or Energy Services were provided by Cook Brown Building Control or Cook Brown Energy.<\/p>\n + The works were carried out between 1 January 2021 and 31 October 2022<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The nominations will be put forward to our judging panel who will assess each application against a set of criteria, this is what the judges are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n + Developments that have incorporated a high level of sustainable features to reduce carbon emissions, energy consumption and waste.<\/p>\n + Achieves a high energy rating<\/p>\n + Practices that reduce a building’s overall impact on the environment<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To apply, please download the\u00a0application form here<\/a>\u00a0and submit to\u00a0marketing@hicktongroup.co.uk<\/a>\u00a0by 9th<\/sup> December 2022.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Applications close: Friday, 9th December 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The shortlist will be announced on Monday, 19th<\/sup>\u00a0December and the winner will be revealed in our \u2018Group Focus\u2019 Newsletter in January, receiving a special trophy and certificate.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Energy Innovation Award Nominations Now Open We are excited to have launched the last Cook Brown Award of 2022: Energy Innovation Award.
