Low Zero Carbon Feasibility Studies

Low Zero Carbon Feasibility Studies

What is Zero Carbon Feasibility Studies?

With low and zero carbon technologies becoming the backbone for achieving compliance in the drive to achieve net-zero carbon by 2050, finding the right technology for projects in the built environment is as important as achieving the target itself.

We believe that through careful and detailed analysis and modelling, there is a successful solution for every type of construction project. Our aim is to ensure that we find a technically feasible and economically viable strategy using several current and emerging types of low and zero carbon technologies, that are tailored to a range of projects from new build, to retrofit and domestic to non-domestic of any scale.

Our service

When investigating the right solution, we make sure that we work closely with the design team to understand any constraints in terms of location, any fiscal restraints and future maintenance. One solution does not fit all. The installation of effective technologies is paramount to ensure the performance gap reduces. We analyse several systems based on not only the above, but also to suit the demand within the building, in relation to space heating requirements, domestic hot water, lighting and more.

Systems considered include everything photovoltaic arrays, solar thermal, air source and ground source heat pumps, hot water heat pumps to biomass, wind power and tidal power where appropriate. We also aim to future proof chosen technologies against changing carbon factors, so the benefits of the specified technologies still show in years to come.
