Graduate Sustainability Consultant, Bsc, OCDEA
My work background:
I studied Wildlife Ecology at University in my bachelors. After that I completed conservation projects around the world in Belize, Egypt, and Indonesia. However, when I came back to the UK, I worked for an energy supplier and realised that the Environment could certainly benefit from help in this area. I then chose to study my master’s in environmental consultancy to gain better entrance into the field and be more qualified. I then gained a placement with Cook Brown Energy in which I am pursuing now as Full time.
About my role:
The main roles that I carry out at Cook Brown Energy are SAP Assessment’s for clients and providing consultation on how to improve energy efficiency and meet compliance.
An interest of mine within the industry is the UK requirement to lower household emissions, and one of Cook Brown Energy’s primary responsibilities is to demonstrate the value of lowering household emissions, this was a big pull factor towards the company.
