JOB TITLE: Non-Domestic Energy Assessor

LOCATION: Bristol / Staplehurst / Remote Working
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday


  • Complete non-domestic energy assessments and analyse findings
  • Have organisational skills and deliver clients reports in a timely manner
  • Issue Energy Performance Certificates and complete written reports
  • Support with business development and possess market awareness
  • Liaise with clients and build lasting relationships
  • Manage general administration
  • Write Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) reports when required


  • Level 4 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor Qualification
  • Relevant industry experience working off plan for both L2A and L2B, with a clear understanding of BRUKL and how to improve energy and carbon within SBEM
  • Experience carrying out energy surveys for commercial EPC’s
  • Excellent relationship building with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Full UK driving licence and willing to travel to sites across the UK when required
  • Experience using Design Builder or IES software
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, good file maintenance for auditing purposes


  • Retrofit PAS2038
  • Experience writing London Plan energy statements
  • OCDEA SAP Assessor
  • NDEA Level 5 DSM, TM52, TM59
  • ESOS or ISO50001
  • Carbon footprinting ISO14064-1
  • Air conditioning inspections
  • DEC assessor
